Meet the Owner

Our story begins like many small businesses: unique experiences and life events that lead one to pursue their passions. Sonika (Sonya) Malhotra began her journey by working for a spa in Kitchener-Waterloo. As she gained experience, Sonika used her extensive knowledge of beauty and esthetics to learn about the best technologies for various treatments. She decided she would be committed to only offering the best treatments available to her clients at the most affordable rates. 

With this goal in mind, Sonika opened the doors to Oceania Esthetics Studio to give Kitchener-Waterloo residents the best spa experience she could. She invests in and works with the best and latest technologies (ie. Soprano ICE Platinum for laser hair removal, LPG endermologie for body sculpting, Bloomea for skin resurfacing) on the market that have been proven to give amazing results.

The team of estheticians at Oceania Esthetics Studio are no strangers to the esthetic world. Each and every one of our estheticians go through rigorous training and experiences so that they can listen to each client’s needs, recommend the best treatments for their skin condition, record each client’s progress to fine-tune future sessions, and use Oceania’s premium technologies and equipment to achieve their best possible results. After all, it is the esthetician that makes all the difference in offering a treatment.

When you come in to Oceania Esthetics Studio, you will be welcomed by our team and asked to fill in an intake form that asks for your treatment-related medical history and current skin conditions. Once our estheticians have reviewed this information, then we can provide information on the treatment (ie. potential side effects, treatment outcomes and success rates, number of sessions, etc.). Once you are comfortable with our process and our treatment, we can then proceed with the session and start working with you to help you achieve your skincare goals.
